At Imagination I lead a number of projects within the Media Group for the Ford Motor Company. This involved web and experiential design – interactive multimedia, motion graphics and video content for international motorshow stands for Ford. As well as generating concept work and client interfacing I lead a team of up to 10 designers, film directors, animators and programmers.
The 2007 Geneva Motor Show became the launch of Ford’s new ‘Feel the difference’ brand positioning. We created a stand where the user was encouraged to create their own experience. They contributed images, words and sounds which were fed through a VJ hub and broadcast back onto the stand.
The ‘Ford VJ Experience’ went on to feature in all of Ford’s Tier 1 auto shows and dominated the 2007 AV Magazine Awards winning Best Interactive Media Project of the Year, Best AV / IT Project of the Year and also the prestigious Grand Prix Award for AV Project of the Year.
