Kennedy Street films

Kennedy Street films

As part of the work I have been doing with Kennedy Street, I made some promotional films with them too. There are always interesting stories and characters to be found around addiction recovery. People who have lived lives a little different to the average, let’s say.

I really wanted to bring some of these unique voices to the screen, to both put them in front of a wider audience and also to demonstrate how recovery gives possibilities to anyone willing to start their journey.

Laser Light City mini-doc

Laser Light City mini-doc

“Definitely one of the most gorgeous Laser Light City installations so far”.

So Seb Lee describes the unique nature of his Worthing show. With seasonal darkness, a faint sea haze extending the viewing experience 20 miles, an historic pier providing the perfect platform, Worthing was treated to this interactive, covid-friendly experience.

I interviewed Seb and filmed the show from all over town to document the show for Worthing Digital. This film is best watched full screen and with headphones on.

I created content for Worthing Digital for several years and this was the latest in their diverse content series around all things Digital.

New Season Tuscany Olive Oil

New Season Tuscany Olive Oil

This short film follows the harvesting and processing of small-scale olive oil production in the Tuscan hills, Italy. I shot it for a UK entrepreneurial importer of New Season oil, a fine and scarce delicacy that is taken for granted by locals, but finds itself on the top shelf of UK supermarkets!

We meet Donato, a typical local small-holder and Paulo, the manager of a local olive oil and Chianti estate. The documentary shows their different perspectives as we see locals using the community pressing mill and then Paulo shows us around the Badia a Coltibuono bottling plant.

Shot over three days in November we see this stunning part of the world in the off-season when the tourists have left and the landscape changes colour.

Yes, it’s a thing! The Tea Terrace in House of Fraser garnered a lot of international press around Christmas 2017 with the introduction of their selfie-on-a-coffee printing machine. Here’s the longer version of that story.

Gordon’s Gin

Gordon’s Gin

I had a great time helping Anomaly edit some TVCs and social media versions for the current Gordon’s Gin ‘Shall We?’ campaign.

I created the 20 sec “Universe” TVC and three other Youtube executions shown. Below is the Facebook 3 sec “Today deserves pink” version complete with subtle After Effects animation.

‘Disco’

‘Disco’

I directed and shot this funding promotional for the feature film ‘Disco’. Working with writer Simon Messingham (Dr Who, Tales of Uplift and Moral Improvement, The League of Gentlemen) and the brilliant Phil Brodie (The Musketeers) it shows a glimpse into the life of Tony Cocksure in all his 1970’s, nightclub glory.
