Working in the flatland that is the Google brand. Visually there is much to compare between where Google/Android, iOS and Windows all intersect. And increasingly there is less light in the crack between their respective functions and experiences.

The app I’ve been designing has thrown up some interesting thoughts and issues of interoperability across platforms and how best to compromise with a decent experience for all. The project is behind closed doors for now, but more <del>will be</del> might be revealed later.

Meanwhile we can peruse the usual refrigerated Apple drool around their new iOS. Riding the train has been made easier working on a peach of a job, throw in experiencing some of the ‘new’ London around Kings Cross and I’m happy.

I just hope my producer’s nose returns to flatland too.

My producer went flying the other day.
